How strong are the shelves?

Each of the shelves for Stax 2G has been chosen for their load strength and inherently positive, acoustic properties, along with their physical design aesthetics – so that whatever electronics or source equipment is placed on them, they’ll remain completely rigid.

Ash veneered shelf thickness: 12.8 mm (1/2”)
Tempered glass shelf thickness: 10 mm (3/8”)
The maximum load capacity of the Stax 2G shelves is 40 kg (88 lb 3 oz).
